Jessica G. Anderson

As a Partner at Armstrong Divorce & Family Law, Jessica Anderson is a family law attorney representing clients throughout Collin, Denton, Dallas, Tarrant, and surrounding counties in complex and high-asset divorce, property division, and child custody matters. She brings years of family law experience to helping clients navigate some of the most consequential legal, financial, and personal transitions of their lives.

Jessica represents individuals in sophisticated family law matters involving significant assets, business interests, real estate, investments, marital and separate property, and other complex financial considerations. In high-asset and complex divorces, she understands that protecting a client’s interests may mean protecting a business, accumulated wealth, financial security, and the future the client has spent years building.

Jessica also represents parents in complex child custody disputes and custody litigation. Her experience includes matters involving detailed possession and access schedules, geographic restrictions, parental decision-making authority, and other complicated parenting issues. She approaches child custody negotiations and litigation with careful preparation and a focus on protecting her clients’ parental rights while keeping the best interests of their children at the forefront.

Before joining Armstrong Divorce & Family Law, Jessica practiced at two Dallas-area family law firms, one small and one large, giving her insight into different approaches to litigation and a broad perspective on what clients need from their counsel. Those experiences shaped a practice centered on thoughtful strategy, thorough preparation, and highly personalized representation. Jessica recognizes that the strongest strategy is not always the most contentious one. She approaches negotiation, mediation, and settlement with the same preparation and attention to detail she brings to the courtroom, always focused on achieving the best possible outcome for her client. When litigation is necessary, she is prepared to advocate decisively for her client’s interests.

Jessica also understands that sophisticated representation should never come at the expense of personal attention. Divorce and other family law disputes can be deeply personal, even when financial issues are complex. Her clients can expect an attorney who listens carefully, communicates clearly, and remains steady and focused when the circumstances are anything but.

“For many people, divorce is their first experience with litigation, and it can be overwhelming,” Jessica says. “My responsibility is to give my clients clarity, sound advice, and a strategic path forward. They should feel confident that someone is paying attention to the details and keeping the bigger picture in focus.”

Jessica earned her law degree from Texas A&M University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Texas Woman’s University.
