Gwendolyn E. Johnson
Attorney
Biography
Gwendolyn joined us as an intern in early 2023 and quickly made herself indispensable. Her scholastic record and work history will tell you she’s brilliant, but it’s her tenacity, compassion, and empathy that make her such a gifted family law attorney.
“I really can’t think of a more meaningful area of the law than divorce and family law,” Gwendolyn says. “Every client, every story, every challenge is different, but my goal is always the same: help each person I serve build a new and better life. That’s what drew me to Armstrong Divorce and Family Law. We really do things differently here. Our clients’ well-being is always our first priority. I was originally attracted to criminal law – I really feel at home in a courtroom and was on my way to becoming a prosecutor – but there’s nothing more rewarding than family law, and no better place to practice it than Armstrong Law.”
Gwendolyn earned her Juris Doctor at the Southern Methodist University School of Law. She has a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Communications from Texas A&M University – where she graduated magna cum laude. She served as Criminal Clinic Chief at the SMU Dedman School of Law Criminal Clinic and has interned at both the Dallas City Attorney’s Office and the Collin County District Attorney’s Office. Gwendolyn is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the Annette Stewart American Inn of Court, and is admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas.
